There is no doubt in my mind that racism still exists. However one needs to be careful calling someone else a racist. Ask yourself whether it is racism or ignorance? There is a difference. When someone says those blasted Muslims, or all those black people, those whites, those anything of the sort, then they are racist. Regardless of color, race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other “qualifying” status that …….
How plans change in the blink of an eye. Forever doesn’t quite mean as much when your forever is taken from you. Memories haunt your dreams and places spark memories. There is nowhere to hide from the pain. The hurt eventually fades but the heartache will linger forever. Life moves on and loves come again but your forever was changed,
and that can never be taken back.
So you think you have to make tough choices? God had to make a choice to plant a seed that would eventually be used to hang his son. Could you make that same choice? We all have hard times and have to make tough decisions but try to keep it in perspective. God chose to sacrifice his only son so that we may live, so that we can be forgiven.
Would you plant that seed?
There is always a worry lingering that one day I will wake up from this dream. If I do will she still be there? Will she still care? How can someone so beautiful love someone so broken? How can she not see what I see? When she realizes that the souls of her feet hold more beauty than my entire being, will she still love me?
Sometimes the dreams are so real it’s scary.

The fight came from nowhere. Words were said that should not have been. Feelings tossed out like the trash. Raw nerves grinded like coffee until there is no feeling. Bruised, bleeding, alone, and crying in the corner. Never again are the words that are there, but not out loud. Self-healing bones and long sleeve shirts hide the damage. At some point something snaps and clarity sets in. There is an end to the madness,
Yes, there is an end.
It is not so easy to see
Which of the limbs have been broken
Or to know when the roots became visible to all

One day you are on top of the world. Your family was happy, healthy, and living the middle class dream. Then things that you have no control over turn your world upside down. You had a little in 401k, a few little investments, and had just bought my dream house. America seemed to die a little that year and now four years later we are in the ICU on life support.
